- Social Vocational Services (SVS) is a leading provider of services for people with development disabilities in the State of California. Founded in 1977 in Manhattan Beach as an after school program for teenagers with autism, SVS provides services to approximately 3500 clients. SVS provides people with development disabilities the training and support necessary to live and work in the community of their choice. Because of the individualized nature of its services, SVS can meet the needs of clients with a broad range of disabilities and service needs.
